Based on their age/grade level, children will be placed in one of four groups, where they will spend time until they are ready for the next group.  The four groups will be –

Gyan Group Beginner 1 5,6,7 K,1,2
Darshan Group Beginner 2 8,9,10 3,4,5
Charitra Group Intermediate 11,12,13 6,7,8
Tap Group Advanced 14 & above 9 & up

Classes will feature four mandatory subsections –

Time Subject
10:00 - 10:20 Prayer (For all)
10:20 - 11:00 Non-Violence & Moral Values
11:00 - 11:40 Yoga & Pranayam
11:45 - 12:15 Hindi

Samanijis, volunteer teachers and guest speakers will teach classes.

JVB Houston Gyanshala will follow a structured curriculum and a systematic approach aligned with its goals. Curriculum will cover topics such as Moral Values, Nonviolence, Jain Philosophy, Jain History, Jain Mantras & Shlokas, Jain Prayers, Preksha Yoga & Meditation and the Hindi Language.  Study materials will be provided to all students.

There will be no final exam.  However, there will be a test/quiz given every week.  Students will be required to complete nominal homework assigned by the teachers and will be working on at least one class project.  Certificate of completion will be awarded to students who meet at least a 75% attendance requirement.
